the dory shaped hulls provide good buoyancy and are simple to make. They  have self bailing decks, and are un-sinkable the bulwarks keep gear dry with lots of deck space. There is a dagger board and rudder on one hull and an outboard motor on the other, cross beams are lashed on to eliminate stress, slated wood decks go together easy there is no expensive hardware to buy. With her light weight, low windage, low wetted surface and high aspect ratio rudder and dagger board she is fast even with simple sail rig or small outboard. You can pitch a dome tent or build optional deck tent as shown. This design is seaworthy enough to go as far as your ability's allow
